Be bold and beautiful this spring / summer with the hottest, brightest outfits.  [pictured left Diane Von Furstenburg dress]

The sweet taste of candy pink, the chirpiness of canary yellow, tangerine orange (anything but sour) and lime green that instantly make you think of mojitoes on a sunny summer’s evening.                         [pictured right: Asos 45]

With all the colours bursting to be seen this summer, I instantly think modern day Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – you’ll feel like you’ve got the ‘golden ticket’ sporting something bright……..I also think ‘Wizard of Oz’ – this ‘yellow’ pair of shoes are far too beautiful too ruin on any brick road that’s for sure.

[pictured above: shoes by DVF – but for high street prices check out this Kurt Geiger pair of corkers]

Don’t be too matchy matchy with your colours – mix it up a little.  Pink and orange works well (remember those fruit salad sweets you had as a child).  Ted Baker agrees [pictured bag].

.. and for this season only, blue and green can be worn without a colour in between.  [pictured Cavalli jumpsuit].  It certainly works for Amy Adams on this month’s cover of Instyle.

Highstreet shops are getting brighter by the day and designer websites are piercing.  You’ll need a pair of these fabulous Marc Jacob shades to cope with the blinding bright pieces like this Acne dress]

I have simply fallen in love with Welsh designer Julien McDonald’s little number [pictured right].  I could stare at it for hours – without the shades.

However, if the purse can’t stretch this far this tangerine number [above right] from Mango or this blood orange dress from Ted Baker are both perfect…

and you won’t get the blues forking out for this Monsoon dress and Topshop shoes.
