This year lace is, yet again, another summer favourite.

Our new Duchess stole a march last week, whilst others maximised the lace in the form of street party tablecloths.

Though cream, white and beige coloured lace pieces were big last summer, and again this summer – check out this cappaccino maxi from Zara [pictured above] and this pretty skirt from River Island] – CUTE – but the best ones this summer are coloured.

Found this bargain red lace number from Asda [pictured above] – you’ll definitely look regal in this, just add a skinny brown belt.

Also spotted a great dress from Topshop [pictured left] in the ‘colour of the season’ or if you prefer darker tones try French Connection .

You won’t go un-noticed in a Christopher Kane take-off from his latest collection – very 80s – though Royal family inspired again, as this collection [which includes dress pictured right] is named ‘Princess Margaret on acid’. How funny!

The colours do look great on tanned skin though I can’t help thinking of highlighters in my desk drawer.

Wear neon lace with pretty much any colour, other than black this season. Warning: Others may need to wear shades.

If you simply can’t tolerate anymore clothing in this summer’s ultra brights or traffic-stopping neon, there are some exquisite dresses in pastals and shades of sherbet like this one from Whistles.

Go embrace the lace ladies. Bee xxx
